So, I began considering schemes for recording the locations of the thousands of files on my iDevices. how the files were located and organized on the iDevices (a lot of which were in protected folders). I did keep additional backups of everything on my iPad, especially the data files, but I had not recorded where I had put what data on the iDevices, i.e. Until that experience, I had not paid much attention to the iTunes Backup process, but had just let iTunes do its thing, assuming that it would take care of everything. After troubleshooting and multiple attempts, I was able to resolve the issue. Recently, during an attempted over the air iOS update of my iPad, things went bad, necessitating an attempted 'update', then 'update and restore' via iTunes. I used the iDevices to keep important personal files - especially medical records, including X-Rays, CT-Scans etc. I much preferred it over other methods available. in 2013 - along with its companion FileApp - as a convenient means of transferring files between my computer and three iDevices. IMazing continues at the top of my list of useful and favorite applications.
